The best way to learn how to trade is to trade.
Learn to think like a trader
Taught by former quantitative traders Ricki Heicklen, Ross Rheingans-Yoo, and team.
what / why
Our public events are 2-5 day full-time workshops for ~15-30 students at select locations, typically in New York, San Francisco, and Berkeley.
We believe that the best way to learn to trade is to trade. Most days center around live trading in teams with fake money on our internal exchange.
Trading camp answers three core questions:
• What is quant trading?
• Do I like it?
• Am I any good at it?

who / what
Most of our students have no experience in trading going in, but do have a little background in programming and math.
The no-code module involves zero programming and focuses on gaining understanding of and intuition for what's happening in markets. The software tools module explores using automation to analyze markets, execute automated trading strategies, and augment the reach of human action.

why / who
You might be coming in with an idea of what it means to think like an engineer, a founder, or a lawyer. Trader mindset is another way to see the world.
A minority of our students have been self-taught solo traders for whom trading camp crystalized principles they had discovered and provided an environment to learn about ones that they had not.

team
Our team is led by former traders and educators from a top trading firm who have experience designing interactive exercises that serve as a first introduction to trading.
They are assisted by a few former students who have returned to help give individualized feedback on trading exercises.
