Ricki started this bootcamp to fulfill her lifelong dream of designing games and telling people what to do. In the past, she's worked in quant trading, electoral forecasting, teaching, writing, software development, data science, and briefly, construction.

Ross Rheingans-Yoo

Ross left his job at a well-regarded trading firm in 2022 to work at a new philanthropic foundation funded by crypto money, where he learned that the worst part about not working in trading is not getting to teach early-career traders. Fortunately, the free market seems to have devised a solution to that problem.

Saul Munn

Saul runs Arbor's ops. He has worked on Manifest (festival for predictions, markets, and mechanisms), Manifund (philanthropic startup), OPTIC (university-level forecasting), and other projects. He likes spaced repetition, philosophy, spaced repetition, forecasting, essay {writing, reading}, origami, and spaced repetition

Yoav Tzfati

Yoav is a coding nerd that stumbled onto the trading bootcamp while making his first steps in AI Safety. He couldn't help himself from rewriting the team's trading infrastructure in Rust, and here we are.

Nicholas Charette

Nicholas came to this bootcamp after meeting Ricki as an Atlas Fellow. He works at Standard Intelligence as a generalist engineer and AI researcher, and makes programming languages for fun.

Tanmay is a math PhD student at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. He likes math, philosophy, and markets.

Talya is a physics PhD student at Caltech. She believes there is no better way to relax and unwind from a long day of simulating black hole binaries than a few rounds of manual trading.
